1. From the Oslo area by car: Follow the E-18 west out of Oslo (signposted Kristiansand) till you get to Drammen. From there, take the E-134 all the way to Nutheim (signposted Kongsberg).                                                                       

2. From the Oslo area by train or bus: Train to Bø Station (get any train bound for Kristiansand or Stavanger) and then bus from there to Seljord. Change here for bus to Flatdal.
The Ekspressbussen (Express bus) from the Oslo Bus Terminal goes to Flatdal, sometimes with a change at Notodden.
